The weekend is about to be jam-packed in Jozi with loads of entertainment. 

Ekurhuleni will be starting off the year with the ultimate Valentine's Day gift for you and your partner.  Be serenaded by Nathi Mankayi in an evening spoiling you with great entertainment, delicious food in the form of a three-course buffet meal and great prizes to be won at Birchwood Hotel & OR Tambo Conference Centre.

Make your way to the East Rand Traders Square and enjoy the day with Candy Benson and her band performing all the decade's favourites as well as her originals. It's a fun-filled day for the whole family.

Make your way to Lipizzaner Centre and enjoy a post-Valentines show, where the stunning white stallions dance to some of the most iconic love songs. Drinks and eats available for purchase at Café Capriole on site.

TASTE: The Swiss Hotel School South Africa is hosting its first Pop-up Restaurant for 2018. The theme is  “…And I said what about Breakfast at Tiffany’s?...” and it cost R120 per person . 

EXPLORE: Crystal clear water, floating water lilies, and a fresh water bed of broad-leaved plants are what creates the fairy tale called 'Marico Oog'. This place of magical beauty is home to various fish species, crab and fresh water eels.

SEE: Phumuza Maphikho brings you the love buzz event, celebrating the month of love with good music, good food and good company. The will be a versatile line-up that includes your soul, hip-hop, house and kwaito artists surely you will be entertained by live performances.

TASTE:  The Market on Main food market (Jeppestown) is one of the best food markets Jozi has to offer.

Sunday, 18 February

SEE: Alan Committie returns with his brand new hilarious stand-up show, PLANET MIRTH - a funny look at everything at the Montecasino.

DO: Make your way to Lipizzaner Centre and enjoy a post-Valentines show, where the stunning white stallions dance to some of the most iconic love songs. Drinks and eats available for purchase at Café Capriole on site.

TASTE: Enjoy a Sunday lunch starting with a cold selection of smoked salmon and an oyster bar amongst other delicious cold buffet items, followed with carvery and mouth-watering dishes such as tomato bredie and chicken curry at Fairway Hotel. It cost R225 per person.

EXPLORE:Spaza Art Gallery is having a lunch and starting up its market again consisting of handmade stuff by artists. The little Spaza Gallery will be open too with the matchbox exhibition ever growing, from 10 am in the morning till 5 in the afternoon -so chill out enjoy a drink and a lekker home cooked meal in our sanctuary in the inner city.
