Cape Town - With the winter school holidays fast approaching, Cape Point is making it super affordable for parents to keep cabin fever at bay with their mid-year specials.
The specials, all focused on family, will run from Wednesday 1 June to Sunday 31 July 2016.
Hop on board the Flying Dutchman Funicular and take a ride to higher grounds where you and the little ones will be able to visit the upper lighthouse and enjoy the panoramic land and sea views below.
Two kids, from ages 6 to 16, get to ride for FREE when an adult return ticket is bought for R58.
At the Two Oceans Restaurant at the top, you can also get the ‘Kids Meal deal’ - a free kiddies meal will be delivered to your table with the adult main. One free kid’s meal is available for every adult main meal ordered.

Cape Point is open 7 days a week, from 07:00 to 17:00 in April to September and 06:00 to 18:00 in October to March.
The Flying Dutchman Funicluar operates daily from 09:00 to 17:00.
The Two Oceans Restaurant is open Monday to Sunday 09:00 to 17:00, with the kitchen closing at 16:30.
If you're a Capetonian, you can also make use of the SANParks My Greencard, which offers you 12 entries into the park for R125. This card can also be used across other Table Mountain National Park pay points inlcuding Boulders Penguin Colony, Oudekraal and Silvermine, as well as the braai and picnic areas at Tokai, Newlands and Perdekloof.
