The festive season is in full swing in Port Elizabeth, with the holiday mood sweeping through the city. Michael Ferguson will get you into the weekend vibes with his live performances and if that doesn't get you tapping your foot to the beat then the Tropical juice will. 

Santa season is here and Port Elizabeth has the best events to attend - make your way to the Christmas cheer braai to feel the celebrations come alive. Experience the Dinos Alive with the family and make it a memorable event for the kids. 

Where will you be heading in the friendly city during the weekend? 

Friday, 1 December 

SEE: Michael Ferguson perform live at the Boardwalk from 18:00. He is a growing South African musician and has the ability to capture the hearts of his audience. Entrance is free. 

DO: Head to the see the locally talented Shekhinah perform at Tropical juice at Mc Arthur pools for the ultimate Summer jam. Open from 17:00 - 03:00. Tickets cost R150 at computicket outlets and R200 at the door.

TASTE: Smell the festive season in the air at the Christmas Cheer braai at the PE golf club. Open from 18:30 - 23:30. Tickets cost R 160 per person. 

EXPLORE: Walk through Dinos Alive for an unreal experience as it takes you back to the prehistoric era. It will take place at the Baywest mall and tickets cost R75 per person. Tickets can be purchased here.

Saturday, 2 December 

SEE: The Kifness and the December streets perform live at BSB Summer Music Festival - open from 17:00 - 24:30. Tickets cost R 120 and can be purchased here

DO: Sing along to Christmas carols at enjoy a movie under the stars at Curro Castle Wesbrook. Open from 18:00 - 21:30. Tickets cost R 30 per adult and R 20 per child.

TASTE: If pizza is what you are looking for head to Angelo's - open from 09:00 - 22:00 

EXPLORE:  Christmas in the park, Mount Pleasant 2017 will be hosting a party to get you in the mood for delicious food and Santa's treats. There will be crafts, gifts and food for sale. The event will run from 14:00 - 18:00. Entrance cost R 10 per adult and R 5 per child - all proceeds are going towards charity.

Sunday, 3 December 

SEE:  Lee lindel and Paul Basel perform live at Eddie Macs at VP  - from 12:00 onward. Entrance is free and it is a great place to grab a plate. 

DO: Grab a cold one and watch the city sky line at the Deep brew Sundaze summer season event. Open from 15:00 and tickets cost R 100, purchase here

TASTE: Grab some good grub and a cold one at Patidos Pub and Grub.

EXPLORE: Enjoy a moonlight walk with SAMREC from 18:00 - 20:00. Tickets cost R 50 per adult and R 30 per child.
