Cape Town - It's Women's Month and we have all the things you should be doing, and places you should be checking out, while spoiling your loved ones this weekend.

Joburg is bustling as always - check out the latest finds and objects sourced from all around the world at the unique Trunk show. Bring the whole family along, lay a picnic blanket and enjoy the day. It will run from 11 August to 13 August at Beachwood Gardens.

In Cape Town, the feel of Women's Month is strong within the city as there are a number of celebrations taking place. So if you are looking for a local laugh then head over to the Protea Fire and Ice Hotel to watch John Vlimas perform stand-up comedy.

In PE, you can join locals at Kings Beach for the 4th annual 5km Chocolate Run to increase knowledge and awareness, to end all forms of women and child abuse. You can also have some wine at The Red Tree in PE, as it celebrates women with the latest wine tasting from Vrede & Lust Wines.

Finally in Durbs, support the women in music by checking the Imbokodo Jazz Festival featuring the likes of Feya Faku Quartet, Chantal Willie-Petersen and Lindiwe Maxolo to name a few.
