Did someone say puppy parade? During the 23 -25 June Port Elizabeth has an abundance of activities lined up. From cuddling puppies at the Pet doctors on Pickering anniversary to wild life game drive gazing at giraffes and much more at Kragga Gamma. 

The Music Kitchen will be host to a piano prodigy while electrifying your taste buds at Ginger restaurant. Jam to some local tunes from the legendary PHFAT live at the Dockside

Plan to get playful during 23 - 25 June in Port Elizabeth, the choice is yours. 

Friday, 23 June

SEE: Listen to James Storyteller who is a mastermind on the keyboard and has a magnificent voice as he plays songs by Nirvana, The Eagles and much more. Entrance is R80 from 19:30 - 23:00 at the Music Kitchen. 

DO: Put your heels on and head over to Bridge Street Brewery for Fridays ladies night. 

TASTE: Spoil your taste-buds and make a reservation at Ginger as the food and service are 5 star quality.

Saturday, 24 June

SEE: PHFAT live at the Dockside, the renowned local artist will get you jumping and jiving to his tunes. R100 - 120 get you in from 19:00 till late.

DO: Play with the puppies at the Family Fun day to celebrate the Pet Doctors on Pickering one year anniversary - all proceed from the event will go towards Cat care. R5 gets you in and activities include face - painting, jumping castles and a puppy party just for the kids. There will also be book stalls and food stalls. From 09:00 - 14:00.

TASTE: Head over to Patidos Pub and Grill for a cold one and some good grub.

EXPLORE: The hidden gem that is Kragga Gamma Game Park - abundant with wildlife from giraffes to rhinos they have it all! Entrance cost R80 adults and R40 for kids. Open from 08:00 - 17:00 with various activities such as ; game drives, bird watching and cheetah encounters.

Sunday, 25 June

SEE: Port Elizabeth and Algoa Bay from a new angle with a free Sunday River Ferry.  

DO: Get the best seafood in town at Blue Waters Cafe

TASTE: As the world moves towards a more health conscious and organic lifestyle -  do not  miss the local goodies at Grass Roof and Farm Stall. Open from 08:00 - 17:00. 

EXPLORE: Enjoy a game of Putt -putt and a braai at Open Sky the Entertainment Park and Lapa. There are fun filled activities for the kids from the carousel to water park. R10 -20 depending on which section is entered. Open from 10:00 - 17:00.

1.  Happy Valley

A scenic day or evening with the whole family - why not have a picnic and games day out with the family. The calming lily ponds and secret hidden spots are a delight!

2. National Arts Festival 

130 km drive out of Port Elizabeth but well worth the drive the National Arts Festival - with over a hundred different arts and culture shows. There is also a festival for the kids - Children's art festival as its a creative 10 day experience for primary school children.

3. Sunday Funday Concert - National Youth Wind orchestra 

For live music for all from ages 3 - 103 the Sunday Funday concert has it!  Live music is conducted and played by young musicians. 

Date: 9 July 2017

4. Jesse Cleg Live

Acclaimed South African artist will be playing live at The Bridge Street Brewery! A talented local musician that has taken the world by storm.

5. Local Market Madness 

The local markets are teeming with activity during the school holidays and is a perfect event for the whole family. From tasting local milk tarts to lounging about in the greenery. The Back to Earth Night market at the Old Cash store has organic goods and well as hand-made crafts.
