Friday, 25 August
SEE: All the latest trends in bridal wear and wedding events at the Tygervalley Expo open from 25 August - 27 August. Starting at 09:00 - 17:00, entrance is FREE and it promises to have the best bargains for wonderful bridal goods.
DO: Celebrate the start of spring at the Spring Fest 2017 feat Mandragora, NOK & many others, a festival of music and fun running from 25 August - 26 August. Taking place at Cape Town Ostrich Ranch , tickets cost R 190 and can be purchased here.
TASTE: The flavors of mystery and suspicion at 'The Art of Civilized bushwacking' event held at Fork Restaurant. The 1940's being the main theme - with poker faces and an evening of course tapas delight, from 19:00 - 22:00. Tickets can be purchased here and cost R370 per person. The evening is a fun filled game involving all the guests.

Saturday, 26 August
SEE: 60 of the selected winning portraits at the Sanlam Portrait award of 2017 - a true wonder of art that has been created, showing at Michaelis Gallery . Entrance is FREE - open from 11:00 -14:00. The exhibition is called Portrait 100 Opening exhibition.
DO: Head to Cavendish Square for the best bargain on books at the Charity book sale from 09:00 - 17:00.
TASTE: Enjoy the divine flavors of the Montpellier wines at the Radisson Blu hotel Waterfront for Saturday Supper Club- costing R 345 per person. Meals are paired with the ideal Montpellier wines for an unforgettable taste.
EXPLORE: The Obs Vinyl fair, taking place at the Touch of Madness Restaurant - a chilled party to set you in the mood for a magical Saturday night. There will be live music, delicious food and vinyls on sale.

Sunday, 27 August
SEE: Innovative local designers, local produce, delicious market treats and more at the Social Market in Claremont, from 10:00 - 15:00. Entrance is FREE.
DO: Partake in Blisters for bread - whether it be a brisk walk or a run at either 5km or 10km. It is a fun event to get involved in for a good cause. The 10km race starts at 07:00 and the 5km race starts at 08:00.
TASTE: The tantalizing 6 course tasting menu at the Noble Vice Wine & Culinary event inclusive of the most mouth-watering meals and elegant wines of Cape Town. Tickets cost R 690 and can be purchased here. The event will be hosted at the Old Biscuit mill in Woodstock.
EXPLORE: The launch of the new Anchor Sunday Market taking place at Canvas Event Space - a market here to stay and will be open every Sunday. Live music and a wonderful opening event for the whole family from 10:00 - 16:00.
