Durban has a beautiful and outdoor filled line up for the weekend of the 15 - 17 September. With the delicious greek food festival, as well as the SUP and yoga morning - you will have a fun-filled weekend.

The beautiful spring weather yearns for you to visit the sustainable living exhibition to get a head start on how to grow your own food sources.

Friday, 15

SEE: Savage Lucy at the Winston Pub from 19:00, tickets cost R30 before 22:00 and R50 after.

DO: Attend the sustainable living exhibition to learn more about growing your own food sources. Entrance is FREE and is open from 13:00 onward. It will be held at the Durban ICC.

TASTE: French and fusion themed food at the 9th avenue bistro for a wonderful fine dining experience, open from 18:30 - 21:00 for dinner. 

EXPLORE: A bhangra fusion mix-up will have you dancing the night away - taking place at Club Deluna. Starting at 21:00 onward.

Saturday, 16

SEE: A fine show of poetry and jazz at the Pot of art - there will be free cakes and tea. Tickets cost R100 and can be purchased here. R120 for tickets at the door. Open from 11:00.

DO: Take part in the coastal clean up event, Bluff beaches international beach clean up. It will start at the Bluff nature reserve from 8:30 - 10:30.

TASTE: A delicious mediterranean experience at Olive & oil, open from 12:00 - 15:00 for lunch and dinner for 18:00 - 22:30.

EXPLORE: My big fat greek food festival from 09:00 - 16:30. Entrance is FREE. Hosted by the Hellenic society.

Sunday, 17

SEE: The talented Mr 'If' perform at Eyadini lounge from 12:00 - 14:00. 

DO: Attend the SUP and yoga session from 07:00 - 09:00. It cost R 200 per person and is taking place at surf sup yoga.

TASTE: Taste the flavors of Thailand at the Greedy Buddha, open from 12:00 till late. 

EXPLORE: Get outdoors with the Queensburg Harriers mineshaft 15km run. R 80 is the price for running entry and tickets can be purchased here. The race will begin at Queensburg sports association
