SEE: If you are looking for a local laugh then head over to the Protea Fire and Ice Hotel to watch John Vlimas The good racist perform stand-up comedy. The show starts at 20:15 - 22:00. Tickets cost R 120 and can be purchased here.
DO: Attend the Fireside Yoga and meditation to calm the storm of the week within - from 18:00 - 19:15 at IndiPam Yoga house. Entrance to the class cost R 100.
TASTE: Have as much soup as you like at the Soup and sherry event - held at Ruslamere Hotel, spa and conference centre. There is a choice of 4 soups and the whole family is welcome at R75 per person. Enjoy a complimentary glass of sherry. Open from 18:30 - 21:30.

Saturday, 12 August
SEE: Sustainable goods and produce sold at the Thriving and Sustainable market - from 10:30 - 13:30. Entrance is FREE. It is held at the Novalis Ubuntu Institute.
DO: In commemoration of Women's month - celebrate at the Women's Day High tea at The Atlantic Imbizo from 13:30 - 17:00. It costs R 120 per person for the event.
TASTE: The new flavours of Big Route Pizzeria as they launch their new menu from 19:00 onward. There will be an assortment of gin and wine tastings available.
EXPLORE: The Winter pop up market at the Old Biscuit Mill - from 09:00 - 14:00, entrance is FREE. For all the latest trends in fashion, design and delicious food!
Sunday, 13 August
SEE: All the food, fun and crafts at the Market Sunday - at the Market in the Barn in Durbanville. A lovely outing for the whole family. Open from 10:00 - 15:30.
DO: Head on over to Delheim Wines in Stellies for the Cheese fondue and live jazz Sundays - it is the perfect way to unwind. Starting from 12:30 - 15:30. Tickets cost R 230 per person. Booking is essential.
TASTE: The amazing flavours of Mexican food at Fat Cactus Sunday special - happy hour and 2 for 1 tacos. Starting from 12:00 onward. Taking place at the Woodstock foundry.
EXPLORE: The wonderful world of 3- D mini golf that is glow in the dark - a fun activity for you and the kids. Open all day long from 10:00 at The Gallery Shopping Centre. It cost R 130 per person.
