As the season gets warmer and we welcome the outdoor adventures that await us - the weekend of the 8 - 10 September has a lovely line up. Attempt the 3 Peaks challenge and hike the three peaks in Cape Town to up your fitness and enjoy the outdoors.

Dance it out at the Springball event while you taste the delicious food at Kelvin Grove Club. The ice cream tasting at Killarney Gardens is the place to be - ice cream season is back!. Sink into some smooth poetry at the Poetry slam event. 

There is so much to do between the 8 - 10 September, head out and about in Cape Town

Friday, 8 September 

SEE: 3 tons of Fun perform live at Cafe Roux - sit back and enjoy some delicious food while listening to the most beautiful melodies. Tickers cost R 140 per person and can be purchased here

DO: Dance the night away at the Springball, held at Kelvin Grove club. Tickets cost R 170 per person and can be purchased here. Open from 19:30 - 22:00. The ticket includes a delicious 2 course meal.

TASTE: Enjoy the delicious pub food at Dizzy's while you listen to Mobbing Bali perform live - R 40 gets you in and you can expect jamming music from 20:00 - 23:00.

EXPLORE: Take part in the 3 Peaks challenge - get your outdoor adventure fill. The challenge is to hike the 3 peaks in Cape Town over 3 days. Admission is FREE. Enjoy the spring air and head out for a hike. From 8 - 10 September 2017.

Saturday, 9 September 

SEE: Check out poet and writer, Siphosethu Phikelela and Imbewu Book Club guests for an hour of ‘The Seed’ poetry production at  A4 Arts Foundation. The event starts at 12:00 and R45 gets you in. (All ticket sales will go towards Khayelitsha Special School)

DO: Head to the ice cream tasting taking place at Killarney Gardens Depot, open from 10:00 - 15:00. Entrance cost R30 per adult and R20 per child. Tickets can be purchased here.

TASTE: Enjoy the delicious vegan dinner hosted at Green & Vegan - open from 19:00 - 22:30. Booking is essential as you sit down for a cosy and delicious vegan dinner. It cost R 295 per person which excludes drinks. 

EXPLORE: The Cape Town Poetry slam hosted at the Fugard Theatre - open from 20:00 - 22:00. Tickets cost R 45 per person and can be purchased here.

Sunday, 10 September 

SEE: How to make the delicious Asian dumplings at the Cooking lesson, held at Mandarin Chinese lessons. Open from 13:30 - 16:30. It cost R 295 per person and tickets can be purchased here. 

DO: Head to the Lunchtime meditation being held at UCT upper campus from 13:00 - 13:30. Entrance is FREE. Take the time to wind down from the week and relax. 

TASTE: Enjoy the delicious treats at the Root 44 Market - there will be live music and an array of delicious food and drinks to choose from. Open from 12:00 - 14:00.

EXPLORE: The Spring Bridal and goods market - open from 10:00 - 17:00. Entrance is FREE. As wedding season approaches this is the ideal market to head to - for ideas and inspiration.
