Or expect a weekend of super loaded portside fun for all ages at this year’s Durban Port Festival, featuring live performances by popular South African music artists including Nasty C and Amanda Black.

Friday, 08 September

SEE: Chart-topping, gold-selling DJ and producer sensation TiMO ODV is embarking on a nationwide club tour to promote the release of his latest “MOVE.” EP at Tiger Tiger. Doors open 20:00 and cost ranges from R60 to R90.

DO: Expect a weekend of super loaded portside fun for all ages at this year’s Durban Port Festival, featuring live performances by popular South African music artists including Nasty C and Amanda Black. Tickets cost R30 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 16, available through Computicket.

TASTE: Are you a sucker for desserts filled with some spicy Indian flavours? Try Wakaberry's frozen yoghurt.

DO: Line up yet again for another Old Mutual Wild Series Mont-Aux-Sources Challenge in the Royal Natal Park. Trail cost R1,700 per person.

TASTE: If you’re looking for Durban’s best sushi, you'll find it at Jack Salmon.

EXPLORE: Grab those neon headbands, multi-coloured socks, neon tank tops, white colours or lycra and come join in the glowing fun taking place at Botanic Gardens. Run starts at 19:30, gates open from 18:00 and cost ranges from R60 - R80.

Sunday, 10 September

SEE: The Gee Jays are back with another nostalgic musical journey for you to come along and enjoy the ride at the Rhumbelow Theatre and cost range from R130 - R150.

DO: Take a walk for charity and join the Pick n Pay Hyper 5km Fun Run / Walk in honour of The Sunflower Fund starting at 09.30, the race has an entry fee of R60 and includes a Sunflower TOPE (Tube of Hope).

TASTE: Have a drink or two while watching the sun go down from the beautiful Oyster Box Hotel, and make sure to catch a bite to eat from the stunning terrace menu.
