SEE:  African Fashion International (AFI) is proud to present Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Joburg 2017 as their celebrate a decade of African fashion excellence, bringing you the very best of Africa's designers at Mall of Africa from Friday 'til Saturday. R300 gets you in. 

DO: Check out Italian guitarist Francesco Luciani's 'Bell'Italia', a classical guitar solo concert dedicated to some of the most famous Italian composers of all times at Dante Alighieri Italian Language School at 19:00 and cost ranges from R120 - R150.

Saturday, 19 August

SEE: Catch Ben Voss (Beauty Ramapelepele) and John van de Ruit (Spud) at Mamba Republic's sketch comedy soon to hit theatres countrywide taking place at Auto & General Theatre on the Square with a cost of R100 - R140.

DO:  Join locals as they take part in the Alex Marathon / Fun Walk special sporting event. The event, taking place at Altrec Stadium, is special in a sense that it will be hosted in collaboration with different structures in the community who overall are promoting health and fitness. TASTE: Urban Farmers' Market invites to a launch that aims to bridge the gap between local producers and the market, promote healthy living and eating while bringing together the old school communal neighborhood social engaging.
