Cape Town - Tourvest, Mankwe-GAMETRACKERS and Chimp & Zee will be revealing a new rope adventure park at the Valley of the Waves in Sun City.
Opening on 25 November ahead of holiday season, the park is made up of elevated obstacles, connected with high balancing beams, zip lines, spider nets and rope bridges. This newest entertainment addition, that comes after the R1 billion upgrade at the resort last year, will offer an alternative to the water activities that the holiday destination is known for.

“The rope adventure park will add
considerable value to Sun City’s value proposition as a sought after leisure
and entertainment destination,” says Mankwe-GAMETRACKERS's CEO Peter Dlamini.
“We feel that while guests enjoy
the slides and the waves, their interest will be piqued by the activities above
them and we expect the Valley of the Waves to draw larger numbers of people."
He also adds that all safety measures will be taken on the 45-minute course, with highly trained professionals at each entry and exit point, who will also make sure that all equipment is up to standard.
The adventure park will also be available for day visitors.

New mountain bike trail
Another new activity that will be open to the public in November is a mountain bike track that runs through the Letsatsing Game Reserve. The 9,7 km track will be extended with another 10km in the second phase, and will offer game viewing on the back of a bike.
There are different lanes for beginners and experienced cyclists, and guests can either bring their own bikes or hire one from the Activity Hub, where all reservations for activities at Sun City can be done.
“The track has been
built to international standards with a view to attracting international
cycling events as the route is extended in the coming months,” says Dlamini.
He also reiterates that all new staff for the new additions come from surrounding communities who will undergo extensive training programmes to grow their skills.

"We are excited about our floor revamp and makeover.
