Cape Town - While spring is typically associated with whales along the shores of the Western Cape in South Africa, one lucky photographer had the privilege to capture a pod of over 60 humpback whales frolicking in the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Town.
Photographer and drone pilot, Kieran Donnelly caught all the action on his drone camera and uploaded this incredible footage over the past weekend.
Donnelly posted the sighting to his Instagram account, saying "for my 200th post, I present to you some INCREDIBLE #drone footage of at least 60 humpback whales off the coast..."
The super pod of humpbacks were seen feeding on a gigantic gathering of krill just off the Cape Town coast at Crayfish Factory.
