Cape Town - An exciting and busy first day at World Travel Market (WTM) Africa 2017 saw the prestigious event, now in its third year, open doors to inbound and outbound travel professionals across the continent.
More than 5 000 delegates are in the Western Cape to attend WTM Africa 2017, taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) between 19 April and 21 April.

A varied host of international buyers, local outbound specialists, tourism product and destination marketing organisations are in attendance.

Apart from the global showcase of what the Africa tourism sector offers, WTM Africa 2017 also delves deeper into tourism industry issues and trends - including the upswing in aviation on the African continent, how sustainability in tourism has an upper hand in Africa, and how bloggers featuring the continent have changed the perception of Africa in the global travel sphere.
